Hay viajes que permiten conocer un territorio. Y hay otros que ayudan a comprenderlo.

The first Territorial Journey of La Promesa Argentina featured Leandro Vesco —travel journalist for La Nación and author of travel books— who covered more than 6,000 kilometres crossing the provinces of Buenos Aires, Río Negro, Chubut and La Pampa alongside his son Galo.
A journey that was also a way of sharing, honouring and celebrating life.
The expedition united the editorial tour of his book Patagonia with the message of La Promesa Argentina: to travel in a more mindful, deeper and more committed way with nature, local cultures and the communities that sustain the territory.
We designed a route that would venture deep into the territory and discover, where possible, places off the beaten track. We took rural and secondary roads, crossing coastal towns, sailing open waters towards pristine islands teeming with marine life, solitary steppe, petrified forests, southern vineyards, small hamlets and communities shaped by the wind, the distances, the hospitality and the sense of belonging.
Throughout the journey, the transition between coast, steppe and mountains was documented, highlighting family projects, identity-driven ventures and the people who sustain life in the various corners of Patagonia.
The heart of the journey lay in the people: chefs, fishermen, artisans, firefighters, guides, producers, entrepreneurs and families who keep the memory and identity of each place alive.
At each stop, the journey carried the message of La Promesa Argentina, generating encounters with local communities and identifying concrete needs that were then translated into La Promesa Dialogues and Purposeful Actions.
Along the way, those needs became concrete actions: a shredder for the NEC-MAR briquette cooperative in Camarones, mattresses for the CEA agrotechnical school of La Cruzada Patagónica and equipment for firefighters working on the prevention and combat of forest fires in Cholila.

Every point on the map marks a milestone along the way and a story that honours the territory and those who inhabit it.
Four provinces. More than six thousand kilometres. One shared intention: to leave a good mark.
Because travelling can also be a way of caring for, uniting and better understanding the country.
This Territorial Journey was made possible thanks to Hertz Argentina, who provided the vehicle to cover this extensive Patagonian route, and to the ongoing support of the Hertz Trelew team. Fuel and additional contributions were provided by MAI 10. A very special thank you to Leandro Vesco for his extraordinary work, sensitivity and commitment throughout the entire journey.
