As part of the Patagonia Central Territorial Journey undertaken by Leandro Vesco on behalf of La Promesa Argentina, a series of La Promesa Dialogues was held in Puerto Madryn, Camarones, Comodoro Rivadavia and Cholila.
Entrepreneurs, producers, cooks, artisans, guides, tourism business people, members of local communities and travellers participated, sharing experiences around a common conviction: travel can be a way of caring for, valuing and strengthening the places we visit.
Throughout the journey, Leandro Vesco presented his book Patagonia and the message of La Promesa Argentina, paying tribute to those who keep alive the memory and identity of each place.
The gatherings
Puerto Madryn · Ecocentro
The first La Promesa Dialogue was held at the Ecocentro in Puerto Madryn, a space linked to the sea, environmental education and the interpretation of Patagonia. The gathering was accompanied by Guillermo Paats, founder of Argentina Visión and member of the La Promesa Argentina Council.
Camarones · Huella Azul
The dialogue in Camarones took place at Huella Azul, facing the village square, sharing flavours, stories and perspectives on the Patagonian coast. Alongside Leandro Vesco, María Mendizábal —from Rewilding Argentina / Patagonia Azul— and Maita Barrenechea, community members, stakeholders in the tourism and local gastronomy value chain, entrepreneurs and travellers participated.
Carola Puracchio prepared a dinner with regional products and flavours of the Patagonian sea, accompanied by wines from Ribera del Cuarzo.
La Promesa Argentina also announced the donation of a shredder for the NEC-MAR cooperative, made possible by PIRQA Travel, to strengthen a circular economy project led by Inca and Rosita.

Dialogue held at one of the most emblematic sites in Patagonian memory, accompanied by wines from Viñas del Nant y Fall. The agricultural school CEA of La Cruzada Patagónica was part of the Purposeful Actions undertaken during the journey, thanks to MAI 10 and La Cardeuse.
Each La Promesa Dialogue was also a way of listening, giving thanks and recognising those who sustain life in different corners of Patagonia.
Because travel can also be a way of finding each other.
